Winemaking notes: 100% Syrah grown on granite aged 1/3 in vat, 1/3 in oak barrique, and 1/3 in small French oak barrels. 

Tasting note: the Saint-Joseph is medium purple in color with a clean nose of medium+ intensity with aromas of lavender, violet, blackberry, elderberry, earth, coffee beans and pepper. On the palate this wine is dry with medium acid, high tannin, medium+ body, pronounced flavor intensity and a long finish with flavors of lavender, violet, elderberry, earth, espresso, cedar, roasted chestnut, blackberry, black plum, boysenberry, smoke, white pepper, oregano and tarragon leaf. This wine is very good: 9.4/10.
