Winemaking notes: 100% Viognier from a 3.8-hectare single estate vineyard aged in 60% stainless steel and 40% new toasty French oak barrels.
Tasting note: the Grillet is medium gold in color with a clean nose of medium+ intensity with aromas of mayflower, honeysuckle, saffron, hawthorn, elderberry, peach, mandarin, dried apricot and mint. On the palate this is dry with medium acid, medium alcohol, medium+ body, medium+ flavor intensity and medium+ finish with flavors of guava, white peach, mango, melon, mandarin orange, almond skin, lavender honey, and a hint of hazelnut and Madagascar vanilla. Drink now though 2025, this wine is outstanding: 9.5/10.
