Winemaking notes: 100% Syrah from Chavanay, grapes partially de-stemmed and fermented with natural yeast and punched down, aged for 7 months: 50% in French oak barrels and 50% in stainless steel tank.

Tasting note: the “les Vignes d’à Cote’ Syrah is deep purple in color with a clean nose of medium intensity with aromas of boysenberry, black plum, cardamom, cigar box, leather and earth. On the palate this wine is dry with medium+ acid, medium tannin, medium alcohol, medium body, medium+ flavor intensity and a medium finish with flavors of violet, hibiscus, mulberry, boysenberry, red plum, sour cherry, cedar, and a touch of smoke and pepper. Drink now through 2026, this wine is very good: 9.0/10.
