Tasting note” the ‘Laya’ was medium garnet in color with hints of purple and a nose of medium+ intensity with aromas of blackberry, huckleberry, blackberry jam, smoke, leather and herbs de Provence. On the palate this wine is dry with medium acid, medium tannin, medium alcohol, medium-minus body, medium flavor intensity and with a medium finish with flavors of violet, blackberry jam, boysenberry, wax, smoke, leather, pepper and slate. Drink now, this wine is good: 8.6/10. The fruit was a bit to ripe and raisin-ated for my liking, but it wasn’t all bad.
