Tasting note” the ‘Les Grand Pompée’ is medium garnet in color with hints of purple, displayed a clean nose of medium-minus intensity with aromas of black plum, boysenberry, smoke, leather, slate and rosemary. On the palate this wine is dry with medium acid, medium tannin, medium alcohol, medium-minus body, medium flavor intensity and a medium finish with flavors of black cherry, blackberry, Turkish fig, tobacco, earth, leather, concrete, tarragon leaf, and white pepper.
