Winemaking notes: 83% Mourvèdre & 17% Cinsult, sustainably-farmed from a single estate in the Moulin de la Roque–co-operative of growers in Bandol. Aged in foudre and small French oak barrels for 18 months.
Tasting note: the Bandol is medium garnet in color with a clean nose of medium intensity with aromas of rose and violet potpourri, black tea, blueberry, Turkish fig and cedar. On the palate this wine is dry with medium acid, medium+ tannin, medium body, medium+ flavor intensity and a medium+ finish with flavors of rose water, tobacco, blackberry, blueberry, date, fig, cedar and herbs de Provence. Drink now, this Bandol Rouge from the Provence region is very good: 9.1/10.
