Winemaking notes: 100% Pinot Noir, biodynamically-farmed, grown on pink slate and clay, hand harvested. The grapes are destemmed and fermented on the skins with natural yeast for 14 days with hand punch downs, and aged for 10 months in French oak foudres.
Tasting note: this Brem Village Pinot Noir is medium ruby in color with a clean nose of medium-minus intensity with aromas of rose petals, sour cherry, cranberry, cinnamon, toasted oak, and oregano leaf. On the palate this wine is dry with medium+ acid, medium+ tannin, medium alcohol, medium body, medium+ flavor intensity and a medium finish with flavors of rose hip, sour cherry, strawberry, red plum, cinnamon, smoked cherrywood, and bay leaf. Drink now through 2026, this Fièfs Vendéens Pinot Noir from the Nantais region of the Loire Valley is very good: 9.0/10.
