Winemaking notes: 50% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir % 15% Meunier, 50% from premier and grand cru, assembled from 100 different climats. Based on 65% of the 2015 vintage and reserve wines, the wine is aged for four years on the lees before being disgorged. 8g/L dosage. They do not use any malolactic conversion and produce Champagne in the spring style.
Tasting note: the Lanson Champagne is medium gold in color with a clean nose of medium intensity with aromas of jasmine, lemon candy, lemon drop, pear, raspberry, hazelnut, tarragon and chalk. On the palate this wine is dry with high acid, medium alcohol, medium+ body, medium+ flavor intensity and a medium finish with flavors of orange blossom, Meyer lemon, tangerine, white peach, brioche, biscuit and apple mint.
