Winemaking notes: 97% Marsanne & 3% Roussanne grown on limestone soils, from 5 hectares of vines, hand-harvested, de-stemmed and aged in 2/3 stainless steel and 1/3 oak barrique for ten months. This historic estate was founded in 1625.
Tasting note: the Courbis is medium lemon in color with a clean nose of medium intensity with aromas of hawthorn, dandelion tea, elderberry, sour melon, honeydew, green tea, vanilla, matcha spice and fennel. On the palate this wine is dry with medium acid, medium alcohol, medium+ body, medium+ flavor intensity and a long finish with flavors of Hawthorne, Egyptian musk, amber oil, sour melon, kiwi, white peach, nectarine, green tea, honeyed flan, and winter mint. Drink now, this wine is very good: 9.3/10.
