Winemaking notes: 100% Albariño planted near Marseilles, the Albariño is fermented on the lees for six days and aged for four months in stainless steel tank. 

Tasting note: the Foncalieu Albariño is pale gold in color with a clean nose of medium intensity with aromas of acacia, lemon blossom, Meyer lemon, almond paste, marzipan, and grass. On the palate this wine is dry with medium+ acid, medium alcohol, medium+ body, medium+ flavor intensity and a medium+ finish with flavors of lemon, melon, nectarine, nettle, sea spray and marjoram. This Albariño from the Languedoc is very good: 9.3/10. What a thrilling surprise, this was super fresh and packed with flavor intensity and balance.
