100% Chenin Blanc from 35-year-old vines planted on schist soils grown on 8.5 hectares at the highest elevation in the appellation of Savennières. The vines are pruned in gobelet and cover two climats: Le Parc and La Croix Picot. The wine is aged in stainless steel and does not go through any malolactic conversion. Medium gold with a clean nose of medium intensity with aromas of orange blossom, neroli oil, quince, apricot, slate, concrete, ginger. On the palate this wine is dry with high acid, medium alcohol, medium body, pronounced flavor intensity and a long finish with flavors of orange blossom, nectarine, yuzu, quince, ginger, slate and white pepper. Drink now through 2032, this wine is outstanding: 9.7/10.
