Winemaking notes: Pinot noir grapes for this still red wine come from two plots in Bouzy: ‘Les Hauts Vaudayants’ and ‘Les Doyennes’.
Tasting note: the Côteaux Champenoise is deep garnet in color with a clean nose of medium intensity with aromas of fresh rose, pomegranate, strawberry, wax, mushroom and forest floor. On the palate this wine is dry with medium+ acid, medium tannin, medium alcohol, medium body, medium flavor intensity and a medium finish with flavors of rose petals, black cherry, strawberry, cinnamon, tangerine rind, hazelnut, mushroom and sage leaf. Drink now through 2031, this wine is very good: 9.0/10.
