Winemaking notes: 100% Chenin Blanc, sustainably-farmed, from 30-year-old vines. The fermentation is 80% stainless steel and 20% barrel fermented and the wine is aged in the fine lees for over six months.
Tasting note: the Vouvray is medium gold in color with a clean nose of pronounced intensity with aromas of orange blossom, lilac, quince, marmalade, satsuma, lemon, apple, pear, lanolin, and chalk. On the palate this wine is dry with high acid, high alcohol, medium body, medium+ flavor intensity and a long finish with flavors of orange blssom, citrus blossom, lime, yuzu, grapefruit, lemon, marzipan, chalk, neroli oil and apple mint. Drink now through 2026, this Chenin Blanc from the Touraine region of the Loire Valley is very good: 9.1/10.
