Winemaking notes: 100% Carignan for 50-100 year old vines in the Roussillon region, aged in vat and barrel. 

Tasting note: the Carignan is medium garnet in color with a clean nose of medium intensity with aromas of lavender, black cherry compote, Turkish date, fig, cedar, tobacco, clove, caramel and garrigue. On the palate this wine is dry with medium acid, medium+ tannin, high alcohol, medium+ body, pronounced flavor intensity and a long finish with flavors of lavender, rosehip, cherry, cocoa powder, caramel, fig, cedar, garrigue and sage.
