Tasting note: the Monthélie is pale garnet in color with a clean nose of medium intensity with aromas of rosehip, saffron, tangerine rind, pomegranate, cranberry, leather, allspice, ginger and cardamom. On the palate this wine is dry with medium+ acid, high tannin, medium alcohol, medium-minus body, medium+ flavor intensity and a long finish with flavors of rosehip, potpourri, carnation, blood orange, pomegranate, dried cranberry, tangerine peel, leather, cinnamon and thyme. Drink from 2026, this wine is very good: 9.2/10.
