Tasting note: the Pic Saint Loup is deep garnet in color with hints of purple and a clean nose of pronounced intensity with aromas of lavender, violet, date, Turkish fig, blackberry, blueberry, nag champa, fennel and herbs de Provence. On the palate this wine is dry with medium acid, high alcohol, medium tannin, medium+ body, pronounced flavor intensity and a medium+ finish with flavors of violet, jasmine, blackberry, date, fig, rhubarb, clove, cinnamon, tobacco, fennel, licorice, sage, thyme and herbs de Provence. Drink now through 2025, this Grenache Noir blend from the Languedoc cru is very good: 9.4/10.
