Winemaking notes: 100% Gamay Noir, hand-harvested, femented with native yeasts and aged in stainless steel tank for six months. One third of the grapes are fermented whole cluster and aged on the skins for two weeks during and after the fermentation. 

Tasting note: the Coteaux du Lyonnais is pale garnet in color with a clean nose of medium intensity with aromas of rose hip tea, black tea, red currant, red plum, beet root, and dried sage. On the palate this wine is dry with medium+ acidity, medium tannin, medium alcohol, medium+ flavor intensity and a medium+ finish with flavors of carnation, hibiscus, ripe red cherry, red currant, black plum, leather, smoke, black tea, rose hip tea, toasted chestnuts, pink peppercorn, thyme and sage.
