Winemaking notes: 33% Pinot Noir, 33% Poulsard  & 33% Trousseau, farmed biodynamically, from a 3-hectare vineyard with vines between 30 and 40 years of age. The grapes are whole cluster-fermented and the wine is aged for over two years on neutral oak barrels. 

Tasting note: the Côtes du Jura is pale garnet in color with a clean nose of pronounced intensity with aromas of violet, rose petal potpourri, black cherry, black plum, leather, clove, cedar, black tea, earl grey tea, rose hip tea, anise and a touch of duck fat. On the palate this wine is dry with medium+ acid, medium tannin, medium alcohol, medium+ flavor intensity and a medium+ finish with flavors of violet, rose hip, black cherry, black plum, raspberry, clove, anise, balsam, and a touch of smoke and forest floor. Drink now through 2031, this red blend from Jura is very good: 9.3/10.
