Winemaking notes: 100% Melon de Bourgogne femented in stainless steel tank and aged on the lees for 8 months. “ This 45 years old vineyard, is planted on Micaschiste of the Landreau. The Micashist make some rich but earlier drinking muscadet opposite of the Granite which make some Muscadet much tighter, with intense minerality, which have the amazing ability to age but more difficult to approach on the youth.”

Tasting note: the Muscadet is pale lemon in color with a clean nose of medium intensity with aroma of lemon blossom, acacia, lemon, grapefruit, cream, yogurt, cheese, and pineapple mint. On the palate this wine is dry with high acid, medium alcohol, medium body, medium flavor intensity and a medium finish with flavors of lemon blossom, acacia, lemon, yellow grapefruit, yuzu, lime zest, saltine, sea spray, oyster shell and mint. Drink now, this Melon de Bourgogne from the Nantais region of the Loire Valley is good: 8.8/10.
