Winemaking notes: 40% Marsanne, 40% Ugni Blanc & 20% Clairette grown on clay-limestone soils, hand-harvested, de-stemmed and pressed before a long cool fermentation in stainless steel tank. This cuvée honors the winemaking procedure and tradition that Emile Boudin used when the winery was established in the early 1900s.
Tasting note: the Cassis Blanc is medium lemon in color with a clean nose of medium intensity with aromas of hawthorn, pear, white peach and citrus blossom. On the palate this wine is dry with medium acid, medium alcohol, medium body, medium flavor intensity and medium finish with flavors of hawthorn, yellow apple, pear, green melon, cantaloupe and white pepper. Drink now though 2028, this wine is good 8.9/10.
