Winemaking notes: 40% Marsanne, 30% Clairette & 30% Ugni Blanc grown on clay-limestone soils, hand-harvested, and the ‘Pur Jus’ cuvée is made only from free-run juice which is fermented slow and cool in stainless steel tank.
Tasting note: the Cassis Blanc is medium lemon in color with a clean nose of medium+ intensity with aromas of hawthorn, jasmine, pear, apple and beeswax. On the palate this wine is dry with medium acid, medium alcohol, medium+ body, medium+ flavor intensity and a medium+ finish with flavors of magnolia, jasmine, lemon blossom, green melon, apple, cream and wet stone. Drink now through 2026, this wine is very good: 9.2/10.
