Winemaking notes: 100% Syrah grown on decomposed granite soils. The grapes were hand-harvested and fermented 40% whole cluster for twelve days. The resulting wine is aged for 16 months in a combination of wooden vats and neutral French oak barrels. 

Tasting note: the Syrah is deep purple with a clean nose of medium+ intensity with aromas of violet, blackberry, damson, sour plum, cedar, clove and honeysuckle. On the palate this wines is dry with medium+ acid, high tannin, medium alcohol, pronounced flavor intensity and a medium+ finish with flavors of violet, lavender, black cherry, sour plum, blueberry, boysenberry, clove, anise, black truffle, white pepper, thyme leaf, and a hint of tobacco and cedar. Drink from 2025, this Syrah from the Northern Rhône Valley is very good: 9.5/10.
