Winemaking notes: 50% Colombard, 30% Ugni Blanc, 15% Gros Manseng & 5% Sauvignon Blanc grown on red clay and sandy soil. The vines are farmed certified sustainable and are in conversion to organic viticulture. The wine is fermented and aged in stainless steel.
Tasting notes: the Côtes de Gascogne is medium lemon in color with a clean nose of medium-minus intensity with aromas of jasmine, magnolia, citrus blossom, lemon, grapefruit and wet stone. On the palate this wine is dry with medium+ acid, medium alcohol, medium-minus body, medium flavor intensity and a medium+ finish with flavors of white blossom, citrus blossom, grapefruit, Meyer lemon, wet stones and lemongrass. Drink now, this wine is a bit simple but good: 8.8/10.
