Winemaking notes: 100% Sauvignon Blanc from the clay-limestone plateau of Barsac. As Barsac appellation only allows for sweet wines affected by botrytis, this dry white wine is bottled under the Bordeaux appellation. The vines are 50 years of age, the grapes are hand-harvested and the wine is barrel-fermented and aged in French oak for twelve months. 

Tasting note: the Bordeaux Blanc is pale gold in color with a clean nose of medium intensity with aromas of lemon blossom, kaffir lime, Meyer lemon, ponderossa, toast, vanilla, honey and pineapple mint. On the palate this wine is dry with medium+ acid, medium alcohol, medium body, medium+ flavor intensity and a medium+ finish with flavor of lemon blossom, acacia, key lime, persimmon, pineapple, lemon zest, cream, toast, fennel, lemongrass and mint.
