Winemaking notes: 100% Vermentinu from vineyards on the east coast of Corsica around the Etang du Diana. The grapes are hand-harvested and pressed whole-cluster. The wine is aged on the lees in stainless steel for six months with some battonage.
Tasting note: the Corse Blanc is deep lemon in color with a clean nose of lilac, lemon balm, lemon, yuzu, melon, lanolin and tarragon. On the palate this wine is dry with medium acid, medium alcohol, medium+ body, medium flavor intensity and a medium finish with flavors of lemon balm, lilac, jasmine, Meyer lemon, passionfruit, cream, almond skin and tarragon. Drink now, this wine is good: 8.7/10.
