Winemaking notes: 100% Gamay Noir from organic 70-year-old vines grown on pink granite and sand soils. The wine is fermented whole cluster with semi-carbonic maceration commences and after the grapes are pressed, the wine is moved to cement tanks for 14 days. The wine is aged in old foudre tanks for eight months and a small amount of sulfur is used only at bottling. 

Tasting note: the Côte de Brouilly is medium garnet in color with a clean nose of medium+ intensity with aromas of violet, black plum,  creme de mûre, anise, black licorice, grilled peaches, orange zest and oregano leaf. On the palate this wine is dry with medium acid, medium+ tannin, medium alcohol, medium body, medium+ flavor intensity and a medium+ finish with flavors of violet, blackberry liqueur, black currant, cassis, smoke, cedar, clove, anise, bay leaf and oregano. Drink now through 2030, this Cru Beaujolias is very good: 9.3/10.
