Winemaking notes: 51% Merlot & 49% Cabernet Sauvignon from an 80ha sustainably-farmed estate in north Médoc with a history going back to the 14th century. The soils are agrilo-calcaire and the grapes are hand-harvested and the wine is aged in a combination of French oak and tank for 14 months.
Tasting note: the Médoc is deep garnet in color with a clean nose of medium intensity with aromas of primrose, red currant, black plum, cedar, graphite and eucalyptus. On the palate this wine is dry with medium acid, medium tannin, high alcohol, medium body, medium flavor intensity and a medium finish with flavors of primrose, black plum, dark red cherry, red currant, cranberry, leather, cedar, graphite, black tea, currant leaf, mint and eucalyptus.
