Winemaking notes: 100% Syrah from 15-47-year-old vines grown on cailloutis roulés and red clay soils in the 1.68ha single vineyard. The wine is aged in neutral French oak barrels for 9 months.
Tasting note: the Crozes-Hermitage is medium garnet in color with a clean nose of medium+ intensity with aromas of violet, black plum, mulberry, smoke, leather, pepper and garrigue. On the palate this with medium acid, medium tannin, medium alcohol, medium body, medium+ flavor intending and a long finish with flavors of blackberry, black plum, nag champa, smoke, violet, anise, cardamom, cinnamon, clove and white pepper. Drink now though 2027, this Syrah from the Northern Rhône is very good: 9.1/10.
