Tasting note: Medium garnet with a clean nose of medium+ intensity with aromas of ripe black plum, blackberry, fig, cedar, white pepper and bay leaf. On the plate this wine is dry, with medium+ acidity, medium tannins, medium alcohol, medium body, medium+ flavor intensity and a medium+ finish with flavors of violet, lavender, damson, mirabelle plum, black cherry, blackberry, tarragon leaf, pepper, woodspice and a hint of smoke. There is a lovely restraint and balance in this wine, and a brightness of fruit and acid that lingers on the respectable finish. Drink now or through 2027, this wine is very good: 9.4/10.
