Tasting note: the ‘La Mazière’ is deep ruby in color with a clean nose of medium+ intensity with aromas of violet, roasted chestnut, cassis and black cherry with a hint of vanilla and anise. On the palate this wine is dry with medium acid, medium tannins, medium+ body, medium+ alcohol, medium+ flavor intensity and a medium+ finish with flavors of peony, cassis, black currant, morello liqueur, toasted almond and hazelnut, and a touch of earth and pepper. Drink through 2032, this wine is very good: 9.3/10.
