Winemaking note: “This 18-hectare piece of land bought in 2016 is oriented east, south–east, located at 300 meters altitude. It is a terroir with an exceptional potential, mostly composed of sandy marl of the santonien. Its cooler orientation is what interested us.” Clairette (60%), Ugni blanc (30%) with Rolle, Bourboulenc, and Marsanne. Average age of the vines: 25-30 years. Vinified In tanks and tuns, and aged 10 months before bottling.“
Tasting note: the Tempier Blanc is pale gold in color with a clean nose of medium intensity with aromas of hawthorne blossom, honeysuckle, melon, and herbs. On the palate this wine is dry with medium acidity, medium+ alcohol, medium+ body, medium+ flavor intensity and a medium finish with flavors of bergamot, lilac, citrus blossom, clementine, pear, valerian, Greek oregano and a hint of verbena and lemongrass. This wine is good: 8.9/10, drink now or through 2025.
