Winemaking note: 100% Mondeuse from organic vineyards, grapes are 90% de-stemmed and aged in stainless steel tank for over six months.

Tasting note: the ‘Mondeuse Mataret’ is deep garnet in color with some purple hues, and a clean nose of medium institute with aromas of mulberry, caramel, leather and sage. On the palate this wine is dry with medium+ tannin, medium alcohol, medium body, medium minus flavor intensity and a medium minus finish with flavors of violet potpourri, lavender, blackberry, mulberry, black plum, leather, caramel, fennel, and tarragon leaf. Drink now, this wine is fading. Acceptable: 8.4/10.
