Tasting note: the Modeuse Mataret is deep garnet in color with purple hues, and has a clean nose of medium intensity with aromas of mulberry, caramel, leather and sage. On the palate this wine is dry with medium+ tannin, medium alcohol, medium body, medium minus flavor intensity and a medium minus finish with flavors of violet potpourri, blackberry, mulberry, black plum, leather, caramel and tarragon leaf. Drink now, this wine is fading. Acceptable: 8.2/10.
