Winemaking notes: 100% Syrah grown on coarse granitic sand-covered gneiss, aged for 18 months in French oak barrels

Tasting note: the Hermitage is deep garnet in color with a clean nose of medium plus intensity with aromas of violet, coffee, blackberry, cream, oak spice, roasted chestnut and caramel. On the palate this wine is dry with medium+ acid, medium+ tannin, high alcohol, full body, pronounced flavor intensity and a long finish with flavors of violet, potpourri, cassis, blackberry, medjool date, turkish fig, tobacco and a hint of duck fat and white pepper. Drink now or through 2030, this wine is perfect: 10/10.
