Tasting note: the Chassagne-Montrachet Rouge is Pale garnet in color with a clean nose of medium+ intensity with aromas of rosehip, pomegranate, strawberry, smoke, wood spice, and a hint of wood ear mushroom. On the palate this when is dry with medium+ acidity, medium minus tannin, medium alcohol, medium body, medium+ flavor intensity and a medium finish with flavors of rose, raspberry, pomegranate, smoke, blood orange, toasted hazelnuts, tobacco and sage leaf.
