12.5%, Famille Lurton, Grézillac. Cork closure: stelvin. Biodynamic calendar: root day.
Winemaking notes: 75% Sauvignon Blanc, 20% Sémillon, 5% Muscadelle, aged 4 months on the lees in tank before bottling.
Tasting note: the Bonnet Blanc is pale gold in color with a clean nose of medium intensity with aromas of grass, lemongrass, musk, and fresh grapefruit. On the palate this wine is dry with high acid, light body, medium alcohol, medium+ flavor intensity and a medium+ finish with flavors of white peach, lemongrass, capsicum, and applemint. I was quite surprised that this had a nice intensity and finish, although the complexity was on the simple side. Drink now, this wine is very good: 9.0/10.
