Winemaking notes: 50% Merlot, 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Peite Verdot & 1% Cabernet Franc, grown on argil-clcares soils and peyrosol. Aged for 16 months in 50% new French oak.
Tasting note: the Lilian Ladouys is deep garnet in color with a clean nose of medium intensity with aromas of rose, red licorice, raspberry, red cherry, tobacco and fennel. On the palate this wine is dry with medium acid, high tannin, medium+ body, medium+ flavor intensity and a medium+ finish with flavors of red currant, graphite, red cherry, red licorice, cream, plum jam, and peppermint.
