Tasting note: the Saumur Blanc is deep gold in color with a clean nose of pronounced intensity with aromas of lilac, lanolin, honey, cream, cheese, petrichor, chalk, red ginger and orange marmalade. On the palate this wine is dry with high acid, medium alcohol, medium+ body, pronounced flavor intensity and a long finish with flavors of lilac, jasmine, apple, orange, tangerine, preserved peach, guava, ginger, cream, chalk, mineral and white pepper. Drink now through 2026, this wine is very good: 9.4/10.
