Winemaking notes: 100% Clairette Blanche from the single commune of Adissan, this wine is fermented and aged in stainless steel and fermentation is arrested by cooling the must and filtering out yeasts to leave about 12 grams of residual sugar per liter.
Tasting note: the Clairette du Languedoc is pale gold in color with a clean nose of medium-minus intensity with aromas of dandelion tea, pear, lemon, lanolin and straw. On the palate this wine is dry with medium acid, medium alcohol, medium+ body, medium flavor intensity and a medium+ finish with flavors of blossom, pear, apple, pineapple preserve, almond paste, and a touch of ginger and anise. Drink now, this wine is simple but good: 8.6/10.
