Winemaking notes: 100% Chenin Blanc biodynamically-farmed with shallow stony limestone-rich clay soils, from hand selected very ripe grapes, fermented in a combination of tanks and demi-muids with natural yeast and aged in neutral oak barrels for eight month.

Tasting note: the 2020 ‘Clos du Bourg’ is pale gold in color with a clean nose of medium+ intensity with aromas of lanolin, marmalade, orange peel, guava, quince, pink ginger, slate and chalk. On the palate this wine is medium-dry with high acid, medium alcohol, pronounced flavor intensity and a long finish with flavors of orange blossom, Hawthorne, honey, apple, satsuma, guava, pineapple jam, lanolin, orange peel, ginger and slate. Drink now through 2027, this wine is outstanding: 9.7/10.
