Winemaking notes: 100% Cabernet Franc from 35-year-old vines, certified organic, graviers siliceux (sandy gravel soils), hand-harvested and fermented in tank with natural yeast and no sulfur addition, and pump overs. Aged in cement vats for eight months.

Tasting note: the ‘Les Granges’ is deep garnet in color with a clean nose of pronounced intensity with aromas of rose water, peony, raspberry, strawberry, horse sweat, leather, earth, smoked wood, tobacco and barnyard funk. On the palate this wine is dry with medium+ acid, medium+ tannin, medium alcohol, medium body, medium+ flavor intensity and a medium+ finish with flavor of rose hip, raspberry, red currant, blueberry, tobacco, leather, earth, forest floor, dried sage leaf and thyme. Drink now through 2032, this when is very good: 9.5/10. This is a powerful Cabernet Franc, loaded with fruit, spice, complexity and with the balance and intensity to age nicely.
