Winemaking: 100% Gamay Noir from bush 48-year-old vines, 100% de-stemmed, macerated in the skins for twenty days, and aged for twelve month in neutral French oak barrels and another twelve months in tank after assemblage.
Tasting note: the Gamay Noir is medium garnet in color with a clean nose of medium+ intensity with aromas of acacia, jasmine, mulberry, dried cherry, leather, wood spice and oregano leaf. On the palate this when is dry with medium+ acid, medium tannin, medium alcohol, medium body, medium flavor intensity and a medium finish with flavors of violet, cherry, red plum, mulberry, grilled peach, cocoa powder, and herbs de Provence. Drink now, this wine is good: 9.0/10. There is lots of freshness still with a bit of a juicy core; this is very pleasant and tame and ready to go!
