Winemaking notes: Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc, vines 30-years old on average, from the Bousselot climat located north of the Nuits-Saint-Georges village on the Vosne-Romanée side, from a well located vineyard with a southeast exposition at around 250 meters above sea level. The soils are a brown limestone with limestone gravel and some unique pink Premeaux gravels. The wine rests in 20% new oak 225-liter barrels for 16 months.
Tasting note: the ‘Les Bousselots’ Blanc is medium gold in color with a clean nose of medium intensity with aroma of lilac, jasmine, dried apricot, cream, chalk and pineapple mint. On the palate this wine is dry with high acid, medium alcohol, medium+ body, pronounced flavor intensity and a long finish and flavors of ripe yellow apple, Anjou pear, nectarine, beeswax, clover honey, marmalade, orange peel, lime zest, chalk, yogurt, tarragon and mint. Drink now through 2026, this wine is outstanding: 9.6/10.
