Winemaking notes: 100% Sauvignon Blanc from a 22-hectare vineyard of silex soils (siliceous limestone with flint stones) and is sustainably-farmed. The grapes are hand-harvested, de-stemmed and pressed and the wine is aged on the lees in stainless steel tank.

Tasting note: the Mellot Sancerre is pale gold in color with a clean nose of medium+ intensity with aromas of acacia, pineapple, grapefruit, passionfruit, wheat grass and tarragon leaf. On the palate this wine is dry medium+ acid, high alcohol, medium+body, medium+ flavor intensity and a medium finish with flavors of acacia, lycée blossom, white peach, dragon fruit, cream, yogurt and tarragon leaf. Drink now, this wine is good: 8.8/10.
