Winemaking notes: 100% Chenin Blanc, sustainably-farmed, from a 15-year-old 1.4-hectare vineyard planted on clay soils on the Loir river (a northernly tributary of the Loire River). The wine is fermented and racked into tank where it ages for a few month before bottling.

Tasting note: the Janvier Coteaux du Loir is medium lemon in color with a clean nose of medium intensity with aromas of orange blossom, honeysuckle, apple, honey, wax, and lanolin. On the palate this wine is dry with medium+ acid, medium alcohol, medium+ body, medium+ flavor intensity and medium finish with flavors of marmalade, tangerine, Bosch pear, ripe red apple, honeycomb, ginger and lanolin. Drink now through 2027, this wine is very good: 9.0/10.
