Tasting note: the Matignon Anjou-Villages is medium garnet in color with a clean nose of medium intensity with aromas of peony, rose, currant leaf, raspberry, tobacco, graphite, wet leaves and earth. On the palate this wine is dry with medium+ acid, medium tannin, medium alcohol, medium+ flavor intensity and a medium finish with flavors of blueberry, raspberry, red plum, tobacco, graphite, cocoa powder and jalapeño. Drink now through 2027, this wine is very good: 9.3/10.
