Winemaking notes: 60% Mourvèdre, 20% Grenache Noir, 10% Syrah & 10% Cinsault, with the Mourvèdre and Syrah fermented en saignée and the Grenche and Cinsault direct press, and the cuvée aged on the lees for twelve months.
Tasting note: the Bandol Rosé is medium pink in color with hints of orange, and a clean nose of medium+ intensity with aromas of hibiscus, peony, peach, red currant, earth and a hint of leather and graphite. On the palate this wine is dry with medium+ acid, high alcohol, medium+ body, medium+ flavor intensity and a medium finish with flavors of rose petals, peony, cranberry, red plum, strawberry, graphite and herbs de Provence. Drink now through 2024, this wine is very good: 9.2/10.
