Winemaking note: 55% Grenache & 45% Rolle (Vermentino). “Considered Château d’Esclans’ finest wine, Garrus is made from a single vineyard of nearly 100 year-old Grenache vines, and from Rolle (Vermentino). Entirely fermented and aged in new large French oak barrels for 11 months.”

Tasting note: The Garrus is a medium pink orange in color with a clean nose of medium intensity with aromas of orange blossom, cherry blossom, nectarine, cherry, strawberry, apricot and herbs de Provence. On the palate this wine is dry with medium acid, medium alcohol, medium+ body, medium+ flavor intensity and a long finish with flavors of orange blossom, rosehip, cream, vanilla, marzipan, oragecicle, satsuma, cherry, strawberry, slate, fennel and herbs de Provence. Drink now through 2025, this Grenache/Rolle blend from Provence is very good: 9.5/10.
