13% abv, Guy Négrel, Trents, tasted at domaine. Cork closure: natural. Biodynamic calendar: flower day.

Winemaking notes: 50% Grenache Noir & 50% Syrah from the estate’s older vines. The wine is pumped over and punched down and left on the skins for two weeks post-fermentation and aged in demi-huit barrels for a year.

Tasting note: the Côtes de Provence Sainte-Victoire is deep garnet in color with a clean nose of medium intensity with aromas of potpourri, Turkish fig, date, black tea and grilled almonds. On the palate this wine is dry with medium acid, medium tannin, medium alcohol, medium flavor intensity and a medium finish with flavors of rose hip, stewed red plum, black cherry liqueur, crème de violet, anise, red licorice, black truffle, leather, tobacco, cedar and herbs de Provence. Drink now, this red blend from Provence is good: 8.8/10. Days
