Winemaking notes: 70% Grenache Noir & 30% Syrah from the estate’s older vines averaging 70-years. The wine is fermented and aged in mostly neutral French oak barrels. Certified organic AB, direct press method. 

Tasting note: the Grande Garde Rosé is medium pink in color with a clean nose of medium+ intensity with aromas of lychee blossom, strawberry, cantaloupe, honeydew and vanilla. On the palate this wine is dry with medium+ acid, medium alcohol, full body, medium+ flavor intensity and a long finish with flavor of lychee blossom, hibiscus, tangerine, satsuma, lychee, cream, vanilla, nutmeg, and almond skin. Drink now through 2027, this wine rosé from Montagne Sainte-Victoire is very good: 9.4/10.
